TextileTALKS

Territórios têxteis como lugares de memória. Esse é o tema da Contextile 2020 e também das TextileTalks nesta sua 5ª edição da bienal. As apresentações tratam o tema a partir de abordagens muito variadas, desde a memória pessoal – o próprio corpo, a roupa que o cobre – até ao processo de criação da obra, as geografias têxteis, os territórios e as comunidades que os habitam.
A atual conjuntura mundial de pandemia encaminhou-nos para um ajuste da própria estrutura programática da talk, combinando palestras presenciais e online, de artistas que não poderão estar presentes, convertendo, assim, a Memória Têxtil num território tão global quanto o mundo em que habitamos.

Assim, vimos convidar todos os artistas, investigadores, estudantes e interessados a participarem nas TextileTalks,
seja presencialmente, seja online: ZOOM, FaceBook, Streaming.
